My opinion:

- I had heard many mixed reviews about this novel and I was anxious to make my own opinion on the book that has generated genuine enthusiasm on the net approach of its output.

What about this first book by Lauren KATE? Firstly, this is a story of angels, which changes us a little vampires and werewolves. Secondly and most importantly the story focuses on a love story. And finally, it is a book aimed at a teenage audience. That's the basics, develop a little.

If you already have these things in mind, we can concentrate on what you felt while reading the book. Personally, from the moment I really wanted it was a novel for teenagers, I began to appreciate the book. Overall it is an enjoyable read, a good first novel that sets up the elements and suggesting a promising result because yes, we close the book with head full of questions, mysteries are not raised, there remains much to learn. I therefore reserve my opinion for the following events.

- What about characters? At first glance, they are superficial and stereotypical. Luce, who is beautiful but does not realize it and is ill at ease, which is the rebel Arriana a little crazy, Penn is the little nerd not terrible to watch, Daniel, a little dark boy bad boy and totally mysterious Cam equally dark but more charming, more candid ... In short it seems to have already seen. BUT! But over the pages and especially towards the end we realize account we do not know well, they have a past that has not yet discovered and that we will probably be unveiled in the next volume. So I opened the book with stereotypical characters and I closed with these characters become promising.

- The writing style of the author is not bad, it is addressed to teenagers, I repeat. Nothing transcendent, it is readable. The atmosphere is transcribed, it is dark enough as a whole, we feel a constant threat, I think on that score, the author won his bet.

Firstly, I want to thank Livraddict and Hachette for this partnership.

- Here is a book that I loved to read. Terribly original it takes you into a world like no other. Here we are immersed in a world where people went after their limits and lost everything they had to relearn how to live and forget all the technology we have today to revive a more serene lifestyle. In this world, Claris and Jad grow up surrounded by mysteries, with special gifts that they know their mother disappeared into the strangest of circumstances and they happen to funny things Salicande. So the basis of this novel that promises much discovery, intrigue, mystery. The book is incredibly rich.

- The big highlight of this novel is certainly the characters! And perhaps not necessary the main characters. I do not specifically attached to Claris that I can not stand by his side I want everything now, I'm in a hurry, I speed and enervating. Or not his brother also very quiet, a bit closed in on itself due to his health problems. By cons, all the characters around them are absolutely fascinating to discover! My opinion:

- What I particularly liked about this first volume of the Otherland Women - Bite , the entire universe has created the author on the myth of the werewolf. It developed Interestingly, there is a good plot that develops throughout the story, plot twists, romance just right and the most sensual passages are not too detailed, not so shocking.

- I enjoyed discovering the characters in this novel! Elena is a woman a little special, became the only werewolf against her will, she is an endearing character. Firstly, it does not have an easy childhood and can recognize his desire to fight and take revenge on life. Then, the fate of hits, it becomes a werewolf against his will and attempts to depart from this life to lead a life she would have chosen. Unfortunately, events catches it and he must face his past. My opinion:

- The first time I heard about this book, I had some apprehensions, afraid it sounds too much with the phantom of the opera. In reality, it is a great surprise! I really liked!

Gisele therefore leaves his native France to try his luck on Broadway. She auditioned to be a role, no matter which, in an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. So it is realigned, the owner of Fairhall offered him a job as a cleaner with the key stage all to herself in order to repeat.

This is a love story but a love story that is not built with the usual pattern. It's really special and the title is really well suited to the book ... We speak of obsession as much as somebody dance, it comes to passion, love, hatred of cruelty ... In short it's pretty mesmerizing.

Some will read this book and find it lacking a little "love action" if I can put it that way, but this feeling can be gentle, brutal, strong, pernicious is omnipresent throughout the story.

- I have many characters in the book! Gisele is determined, sweet, gentle but naive and vulnerable, Chance meanwhile, I was very intrigued and tried to understand, to put myself in his place and learned to appreciate a some way. Obviously, we can not resist ... Bevian it is really impossible to fall ... - I was very excited to Sookie to find and all his crazy adventures! And although I am very happy with this second volume, I am not transported so far. I think it's because I watched Season 2 True Blood inspired by the book before reading this second volume. So, I spent most my time reading to compare the book version and TV version rather than discovering the story.

Yet the story is very well written and well done, the plots are really interesting, it reads quickly, it reads well ... But there is not that little something that sparked my enthusiasm more than that.

- Sookie happy I found is really a character that makes me laugh, she is really special and I love it! For cons, I liked Bill a lot less in this second volume, it seemed a bit "weird", it is unknown pa s what he thinks really, it is quite whimsical ... In short, disappointed about it. Excellent surprise about Eric by cons! He is my stroke heart of this reading! What it made me laugh!

- Well now, overall I liked, nothing more. The author's style remains faithful to the first, a lot of humor is well written, it is fluid. The only thing I blame myself is to have seen season 2 before reading Volume 2.

My opinion:

- Here we are immersed in a history of vampires, werewolves, Valkyries, etc. ... The back cover gives the tone right away and I found it quite original reading a story about a werewolf who falls for a vampire, in spite of himself first. Are mixed species and we could see a message of tolerance (why not?).

The central story is of course the love story and the fact that Lachlain will have to get used to the idea that her soulmate is a vampire but also ensure that it falls also in love with him, which is not necessarily won.

Then, another plot continues its course in parallel, vampires who seem Emmaline continue, it is unclear why all the intrigue and lies in the answer to this question. I must say that once past the denouement, I found it very well imagine!
