Review of a book series 2010/2011: the new kids. Well, well, here a little while now (almost a year, I think it ^ ^) I have not done a little article "series"!
So here it is!
year 2010/2011, (as every year for almost 10 years now), was a rather good year, at the series ...
then start by newbies:
Maybe you follow already some of these series ... But I'll still give you a little rundown of my discoveries this season ^ ^
start with the brightest of all, to my taste, whose creator is surely do not unknown, since
Boardwalk Empire was created, among others, Martin Scorsese
.
The series takes place in the 20s, while we follow Nucky Thompson, a businessman who decides to embark on the alcohol industry in Atlantic City, then suppressed by prohibition. It takes under his wing Jimmy Darmody, a young veteran of the First World War very intelligent, who became his protege ...
The first season, which fell in September 2010 in the United States, has 12 episodes and the second season is underway, for the year 2011!
Watching the first episode, you will know if the theme, image processing and that of history you like! (And drool over these gorgeous dresses worn by women at that time ... Wow!)
For my part, I was surprised!

For readers of Jane Austen (and others too, of course ^ ^), I would recommend the four episodes
Lost In Austen aired in 2008.
So yes, this mini-series did not last long, but was inspiring for others, since a film based on the same story of a young woman of our time find themselves thrust into his favorite book (Pride and Prejudice

We can see, for example, with

It will in my view, a second season more creative that this series takes off.

Rubicon has also appeared on our screens (well, those of the U.S. ^ ^) in 2010. This is a series of "conspiracy" or "paranoid"! We follow Will Travers, an analyst at a government agency. After a tragic loss, our "ordinary heroes" will suspect a conspiracy on a large scale ...
I watched the beginning of this series, but expects to go a little further. I liked the look "ordinary" the main character and the overall pace of the series ...
But do not expect a sequel, the series has been arrested ... We must therefore make do with 13 episodes of the first season ...

Gossip Girls, here's the new girl: Pretty Little Liars

, and have served as bases for the series?
Anyway,
Pretty Little Liars seems to be a kind of mixture between
Gossip Girls for the group of girls sometimes somewhat superficial and
Desperate Housewives to investigate mysterious side .. .
I take this series as a little sweet candy: nothing extraordinary in its implementation, but to spend a little while nice, it suits me fine!
And, no problem of frustration, this time, because Season 2 is announced for 2011! ;)

I have not watched all 22 episodes that make up the first season. But they tempt me so much!

I think most of you have heard of this series, or read the comic from which it is drawn.
The Walking Dead discusses our zombie friends , and the few survivors of this "doomsday".
Personally, I have not read comics, and I do not know to what degree these stories are included in the series.
Then I have only seen the pilot episode, which I found excellent.
What I like here are the treatment of the image (as we see on the poster) in shades of brown-gray, giving a very special atmosphere to the series, and the game, very good , the lead actor Andrew Lincoln ...
However, I have read here and there, the 6 episodes that aired were not already following the same quality ...

Turning finally to my little favorite.
Series
Treme deals musicians, members the same group, trying to rebuild their lives in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina ...
And what a beautiful idea that this series, and what a beautiful treatment of this subject.
It alternates here between passages filled with joy and music (a soundtrack breathtaking if you're a fan of blues, rock, etc..) And counter-blows and despair of the inhabitants of New Orleans.
Some scenes are intercut with images and photographs of this region after the storm, and then we realize what happened there.
The characters themselves are interesting, full of humanity, and treated in a rather realistic.
On completion, it will not please everyone, that's for sure: we are far, here, the images "sanitized" a
Grey's Anatomy or Desperate Housewives
(I love too.), but this series worth being seen! (The second season is underway!)

This list of innovations is far from exhaustive, since a quantity of Pharaonic series released every year. It is just my choice) I am also preparing
