Are Women Bother By Men's Niples

Succubus, are you there?

Today is the first two volumes of a series which I will speak: Succubus Blues , and Succubus of Richelle Mead . A series
bouncy and fresh, with whom I had a great time ...

1 . Succubus Blues, Richelle Mead of .

Georgina Kindcaid succubus is in Seattle. A priori a career choice rather nice: eternal youth, the appearance of his choice, a wardrobe and top-level men ready for anything for a simple touch.
Yet his life is not so glamorous: no way of getting a tip-off drinking without endangering the soul of the lucky chosen. Fortunately, it is a bookseller and passionate about her work!
Paper to the eye, white mocha at will ... and the possibility of approaching the beautiful Seth Mortensen, a compelling writer dream-but it is forbidden to set-up in bed.
But fantasies have to wait. Someone has made up his mind to play the vigilante in the community of angels and demons. In spite of herself, Georgina is propelled in the heart of the storm. And for once her spells sexy and sharp tongue does it will not help. "
(Editions France Loisirs. Also available in Bragelonne.)

few months ago ... now that I read This first volume (A move has pushed this review and over again ^ ^) I will however try to give you a full review
^ ^ I remember, first, that this book was a bit of a heart ...
There he meets Georgina (what a name sublime, no: P) succubus in rather jovial mood but that we learn in these pages, is finally not so happy of his condition .
conditions it considers more of a curse than an opportunity.
So what will make her a heroine whom it is pleasant to follow the peregrinations home.
Yes, we learn about the melancholy side or anxiety of the "young" woman, while also loving his naivete child, and his emotional loyalty ...
We understand, finally, through various flashbacks that punctuate the book.
Then, around this colorful character then a world revolves.
A world of books, first with the background warm what the bookstore. A place where, as Georgina, we feel good, want to discover those shelves full of treasures we tapping, sometimes!
A world of immortals, too, where angels, demons, vampires, etc., coexist more or less easily together on our land, people "ignorant" ... (This mixture of genera also gives rise to situations and exchanges quite funny!)
Once these "basic" questions, Michelle Read us into its main plot.
This is rather simple (no big questions worthy of a good detective story, for sure. ), but well done, since a small pressure settles over the pages.
The final track used in this first volume is the budding relationship between Georgina and Seth Mortensen, renowned writer ... We discover, through this story, the side "blue flower" our heroine, and the mysterious aspect (or stuck!) by Seth ...
We feel very quickly that this story, in his side "contradictory" is at the heart of one, or even several other volumes ...
short, a small favorite , yes, this series deals with a creature that we hear little about, and in which surveys, sentimental story, and funny moments bind nicely ...
All this leads to a very nice finish with a touch of romance;)

Succubus Blues for My Note: 3.8 / 5

2. Succubus, Richelle Mead of .

"Love hurts. And nobody knows it better than Georgina Kindcaid, who needed just to kiss her boyfriend to empty it of its lifeblood. For Georgina is a succubus, a demon derives its power from the pleasure of men. It is true that there are compensations pretty cool: it can change bodies at will and is immortal. But they can not coo with the only man who accepts it as it is, it's so unfair!
In the bookstore where she works, it's also a bit chaotic. His colleague Doug has a very odd behavior and Georgina suspects that something far more demonic than overdose of espresso.
And now his best friend immortal, an incubus irresistible call on a mission of seduction more than delicate.
Again, Georgina is going to move heaven and hell, and fast! "
(Editions France Loisirs, also available from Bragelonne.)

After some" flashed "on the first volume of this series I tell myself that maybe I expected too this second part of the story Georgina Kincaid
... Let me explain.
Several trails crisscross this second volume, without provided there is a lot of that sort ... The plot
"main", first, that we discover through the strange behavior of one of the best friends (human) Georgina leads us on the trail of a drug dealer instead of a "special" (and that's saying something !!).. . This story is found rather well, but sorely lacking in suspense ... Indeed, we know from the outset that the mysterious man seen from time to time is suspicious. The "revelation" is not really involved and not even talking about the outcome which it takes place in a few lines and seems far too simplistic . (You were in a hurry, perhaps, Miss Mead?)
Besides this, two other stories take place: The story
a trap set by the best friend Georgina incubated in a rich "Sarah Palin" (at least this is the face I put on this character! lol) ... And unfortunately, this track too, we see it coming a mile off ... (I shall say no more, that history, perhaps, the suspense remains intact ^ ^)
Finally, the heart of the book is filled by the relation Seth / Georgina ... A good relationship problematic, since the two lovers can not make love, under penalty Georgina that sucks the life energy of this poor Seth ...
So yes, it's nice that these young people want to stay together despite the problem is mild satisfaction that Seth takes the blow without drawing a ... (Oops, sorry, I could not help myself ... And yet, I hold back on salacious puns, I assure you!) While his girlfriend of succubus fucks men every two days to survive ...
But this does not hold water. Richelle Mead
we were accustomed to nice stories and sentimental emotions and reactions a little more realistic ... But this is not the case here ... I found the relationship too much "capillotractée" and Seth also loses all his consistency. .. What a shame.
So yes, I was somewhat disappointed by this second volume where everything seems to go too fast ... No suspense ...
But I read with some fun anyway (no, my opinion is not all black), the writing enjoyable to read, to follow a touching heroine (the flashbacks are really very interesting key . They help us understand some reactions of the succubus.), and learn more about secondary characters colorful ...
I will read later, hoping that the following volumes are a bit more elaborate ...
However, I would not put the bar as high this time ^ ^

We did a joint reading on Livraddict for this second volume. These are the views of Galleani , Deliregirl , Azariel , azilys , Karline , Cecile , Hecla , Miss Lily , Eden, Frankie and Mariina . .. (Sorry for being late, girls;))

My Note for Succubus: 3 / 5

Rose.
