Emily Storksak Sold In Gta

memory walls - Tatiana de Rosnay

I'll make it simple ... I have not hooked. Not at all. To not give up (and because the book is only 150 pages) I read the second half diagonally, to see how far the madness would Pascaline ... to the point of no return.

the Pascaline forties, she has just divorced her husband is in love with another. So she moved alone into a new apartment. But it is not good. She learned that in this room, an atrocious murder took place. He was a young woman, Anna, who was raped and murdered, their throats slit by her murderer. This was the beginning of serial murder: 6 other young women will have died under the same conditions before the man was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Some continue to live in this apartment but was unable to Pascaline. She moved, incappable bear the horror contained in those walls. But far from this place, Pascaline is still evil. These murders obsess him, she imagines the agony of the victims, the suffering of parents, thoughts of the killer ... She returns to the scene, completely obsessed, comparing the lives of these young women and her daughter, who died at 6 months and she never recovered. She cuts of all, she stopped eating, not sleeping well, becomes a ghost ... She can not forget her ex-husband, now with Muriel ... She meets by chance, discovers with horror that it is pregnant. It's a girl. They expect a little girl ! For Pascal, it's horror, she hit bottom ... and rebounds in his madness!

Personally, I have not managed to get into the story. I really liked Sarah ' the same author, I loved his theories on the walls and their memory, we could feel the discomfort in being present in a room where a tragedy had occurred. I had been traumatized by this girl, who protect her little brother, was locked in a cupboard, had kept his secret key and, before being sent for 3 days at Val d'Hiv then in camps concentration ... Forced to abandon her brother she loved so much, finally realizing the dramatic consequences of his actions ...

But this time I have not hooked ... the theme of memory walls less interested ... Pascaline got on my system, his madness does not concern me. And I'm not hooked on writing a bit disjointed and choppy, reflect the madness certainly, but I was not seduced. I still expect that The Neighbor ... I hope that it will reconcile myself with the author!
