But will it withstand a future ex-husband who no longer wants a divorce? Especially since she met a handsome journalist specializing in rock and roll the plane to New York ...
And how does it prevent the groom that his wife has run off with her ex-boyfriend? And if, thanks to John Lennon, all ended well?
My opinion:
- It's been a while since I did not dive into the world of chick-bed and it was a nice moment that I 've spent with this novel. When I try to describe it, the words "fun", "fresh", "Entertaining," "nice" come to mind. While it was not innovative in its way, we anticipate relatively well what will happen almost but not at all inconvenient. I really liked!
Josie who is difficult to recover from the betrayal of her husband and, consequently, his next divorce must go to the wedding of her cousin Martha. Josie then went to New York where it is celebrated and made the acquaintance of a lovely journalist on the plane with whom she sympathizes (typical!). They will have a great day to two and then they meet up to eat together in the evening, Matt, cracking journalist misplaces his greatest misfortune for the address of the restaurant. It will therefore by all means try to find Josie. The latter, meanwhile, thinks that he has stood up and then went to the wedding of his cousin somewhat desolate. It's not over! The former husband of Josie decided he wanted to eventually get back with Josie and also starts in pursuit.
Here is a little to the basics. I laughed a lot during this book, I was angry against some characters, I was happy for others, I longed to know the following events.
- I loved the character of Josie! A woman in her thirties, with a character at a time determined and fragile because of his disappointments in love, full of humor with a distributed fairly amusing. We attach to it immediately. Personally, I want to strangle her mother a bit corresponding to the stereotype of the mother who calls all the time, who worries unnecessarily and talking for hours. Matt is really cute in its way, a nice guy who does not take itself too head without losing sight of what is important, honest and loyal, we want more. Martha, for she is equally eccentric but endearing, his doubts and fears regarding marriage are striking. Initially I had a big revulsion for Jack, the future husband but getting to know him, I had some sympathy for him. The only one who, although a lot like me laugh at the end, has not found favor in my eyes is none other than Damien, the former husband of Josie, an incredible materialistic never understand anything about life and values ...
Huge blow of heart for Donald Duck, I had some damn fools laugh with him. Many thanks for his contribution.
- In short, a great time reading the writing style of the author is really cool, fun to read, humorous, descriptions are well proportioned, it is a good pace, I liked the change of characters in the story of Josie pass to Matt or to Damien, although the story is written in the third person, gives us a truly global vision on the history and feelings characters.
I probably read another book by this author (as my privacy on the Internet gives me the eye ...).
